World Of Works Game
The
Opportunity
The card game is an opportunity to get students better prepared for the world of work through envisioning of potential tasks in agricultural sub-sector and skills they can practice contextualized to Ugandan agriculture sub-sector, tradition, school curriculum and corporate environment. The card game is a valuable teaching tool to stretch the attention span of students, help them build planning and organizational skills and help participants learn in a fun and relaxing way.
Objective of the Game
The objective of the game is to stimulate student-teachers in agriculture into goal oriented and self-directed learning. The game helps them identify their personal learning goals to helping them solve real world problems, performing tasks and finally reflection on lessons learnt.
The expectation is that the game boosts the student teacher’s confidence and helps them be better prepared going in to school internships or Industrial Training.
